Job opportunities

The project, ambreCTL, will create an estimated 1,880 jobs at peak construction, averaging 1,170 during the two-year construction of the mine and the unleaded petrol facility. It is expected to sustain around 530 permanent jobs during operation and generate a further 1,600 jobs Australia-wide.

These jobs will cover a range of specialties including:

  • construction
  • accounting, purchasing and administration
  • mechanical engineering
  • environmental management
  • geology and geotechnical engineering
  • chemical engineering and process technicians
  • health safety and training
  • fitters, electricians and mechanics
  • management and operations supervision
  • surveying
